Sporting

Another discipline within shooting sports is sporting shooting. It is divided into two main categories: Compact Sporting and Sporting (also known as Big Sporting). Compact Sporting is a discipline that falls under the general category of sporting clay shooting. In this format, a series consists of 25 targets, shot within a limited area such as circular layouts, trench-style ranges, or similarly sized shooting fields. The targets are typically engaged at distances of up to 35 meters. Sporting (Big Sporting), commonly referred to internationally simply as Sporting, is a more comprehensive form of clay target shooting that incorporates a wide variety of shooting scenarios. It combines elements of different hunting and shooting situations. Compared to Compact Sporting and other shooting disciplines, Sporting is more challenging, requires a greater number of target machines, and is conducted over larger and more diverse terrains.
